SportPesa crowned CSR winner at the iGaming Afrika Awards 2026

SportPesa was crowned the winner of the Overall Corporate Social Responsibility award at the iGaming Afrika Awards. The award recognises companies that put “ethical, social, and environmental stewardship into core operations.”

This recognition reflects SportPesa’s long-term commitment to supporting communities and sport across Africa. Through grassroots funding, sporting infrastructure and sponsorship, SportPesa supports communities, athletes and teams at every level.

Alongside its sponsorship of teams and athletes, SportPesa also supports communities, sport and emerging talent through an initiative called Tujiamini. Tujiamini recognises 54 winners across four categories, providing over KSh 30,000,000 worth of products and services. The initiative supports Kenyan athletes, clubs, associations and wider sporting communities by providing support where it can make the greatest difference.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Award recognises companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical, social, and environmental responsibility as part of their core operations. It highlights organisations that go beyond commercial success to deliver meaningful impact through community investment, responsible practices, and sustainable business approaches.

The iGaming Afrika Awards 2026, part of the iGaming AFRIKA Summit in Nairobi, recognise excellence and innovation in Africa’s gaming industry. The awards ceremony took place in Nairobi, Kenya, on 4 May 2026.
