SportPesa has become the official Online Betting Partner of Varsity Football in South Africa.
The three-year partnership is part of SportPesa’s work to support grassroots sports and exceptional sporting talent across Africa.
The partnership will see Varsity Football and SportPesa work closely together to support the next generation of sporting talent and continue to grow the game, with a particular focus on women’s football.
It will enable some of South Africa’s rising football stars to play against other high-calibre university teams.

The three-year partnership marks a major milestone in the evolution of university sports in South Africa. Many of South Africa’s best sporting stars began their sporting journey with Varsity Sports.
The partnership comes at a time of growing popularity for Varsity Football and underpins SportPesa and Varsity Football’s joint commitment to developing youth sports across South Africa. 
This year’s Varsity Football season will spotlight top student talent from across the country, with a renewed focus on inclusivity and opportunity.
The men’s and women’s competitions will each feature eight leading universities, ensuring a vibrant and competitive showcase of the nation’s next generation of football stars.
