Building on eight years of partnership, SportPesa has signed a new 3 year sponsorship deal with Yanga SC worth TZS 21.7 Billion. The deal will see SportPesa continue to be Yanga SC’s primary sponsor.
Since 2017, SportPesa has supported Yanga SC to become one of Tanzania’s most successful football clubs. During this time, Yanga FC won the Tanzanian Premier League title four times; 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24 and most recently the 2024/25 title last season.
Entering its ninth year as Yanga SC’s main sponsor, SportPesa is looking forward to supporting the club as it seeks to defend its Premier League title.
The sponsorship with SportPesa goes beyond the Premier League team, and also supports the women’s team and grassroots football teams within the club.

The 3 year sponsorship deal comes just after SportPesa paid Young Africans Sports Club a 262.5m TZS bonus for winning the 2024/25 Premier League. The 2024/25 season saw Yanga SC crowned the winner for the fourth consecutive year and the for the 31st time since the league began in 1965.
