In November 2024, SportPesa announced a landmark sponsorship worth KES 84 million for Shujaa, marking a two-year partnership with the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU). This funding – KES 33 million for 2024/25 and KES 49.5 million for 2025/26 – includes prize money for the National Sevens Circuit. The goal is clear: to fuel Shujaa’s resurgence on the global stage, starting with the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai.

Through initiatives like the SportPesa National Rugby Sevens Circuit, we’ve invested KES 16.5 million to strengthen local competitions, covering operational costs, marketing, and prize money for men’s and women’s teams.
