Shortly after SportPesa was founded, we launched our life-changing jackpot; the first and only progressive jackpot in Kenya.

The idea behind the jackpot was to give people the opportunity to win big and change their lives.

Costing only KSh 99 to enter, players must guess on the results of 17 football games, whether it will be a win – draw – loss.

So far, five people have correctly guessed the outcome of all 17 games and won the mega jackpot. Thousands more have won big on the mid-week draw, where players predict the outcome of 13 games.

Changes lives through the SportPesa Jackpot

In February 2018, Gordon Paul Ogada became a multi-millionaire after winning over KSh 230 million in the SportPesa mega jackpot. Gordon correctly predicted the outcome of 17 football games, which changed his life forever.

In 2023, Jackson Mutiso won KSh 20 million on the midweek SportPesa jackpot after predicting the outcome of all 13 games correctly. Despite winning lifechanging money, Jackson continues to work as plant operator at a battery factory in Athi River. Jackon said that while the money gave him financial security for him and his family, work is an essential part of his identity.

In 2024, Jane Mwendwa won KSh 51 million on the SportPesa jackpot, after guessing the outcome of 13 games correctly. The lifechanging winnings came at a very welcomed time for Jane as she was experiencing financial troubles connected to her water vending business. Jane’s sights are set on the horizon with plans of clearing her mortgage and her bank loans. She seeks to give back to the community by offering a share of her winnings to a few friends who stood by her during a very financially difficult year.
